This hike to Dura Kinsman's place, and the mica mine, were great hikes. Bruce is an excellent leader, very informative about what he knows, not afraid to admit what he doesn't. In fact, it is the mysteries--the puzzles--that he can't figure out that most intrigue him. He doesn't give up! Good luck finding that log cabin, Bruce, and thank you for this and your other West Hill walks, past, present (yesterday, Chester Smith's) and future.

Three flower paintings by a Rochester woman, Mrs. H Baldwin, painted in 1854, have been given to our Grace Cottage Hospital Auction in Townshend. I'm wondering if you can tell me anything about Mrs. Baldwin. Thanks Stan Holt

I am interested in purchasing the long out-of-print book, "Rochester, Vermont, Its History, 1780-1975". Friends have a cottage on Clay Hill Road that we use over Easter, so we can attend the Federated sun rise service as well as any other available time. When ever I visit I am fascinated with the village and its history contained in the host copy of this book. Thank you for your attention to my request.
